Forty patients were moved after a fire at a hospital in Queens early Wednesday, the FDNY says.

Fire broke out on the eighth floor of St. Johns Episcopal Hospital in the Rockaways about 1:30 a.m., the department says. Other details are unknown, but the fire was brought under control in less than an hour.

The floor is being ventilated, the FDNY says. It�s not known whether there were any injuries in the blaze.
