The Kof-K has issued an alert stating that their are numerous Mr Softee trucks which have been displaying a KOF-K symbol. At this time KOF-K does not certify ANY ice cream trucks.
The Kof-K is asking if you see any trucks displaying a KOF-K symbol, please photograph it so appropriate legal action can be taken.

The Mr. Softee music is not certified by the kof-k for sefirah either.
Finaly! I. Personaly approached such a truck last year and told that he’ll be sued because it says kosher and it’s not.

When I am considering buying soft ice cream or frozen yogurt at a truck or store not under supervision, I insist on seeing the carton from which the mix came. In the case of Mister Softee, sometimes the mix is kosher, and sometimes it isn’t. I have no idea why.
