A Boro Park Hatzolah ambulance was involved in an accident on Thursday morning. The Ambulance was transporting a patient to Lutheran Hospital, when a vehicle failed to yield to the ambulance, and collided at the intersection of 3rd Avenue and 60th Street. Thankfully, there were no injuries reported, and another ambulance was rushed to the scene to take the patient to the hospital.

I assume the driver was so absorbed her cell phone conversation she didn’t hear the siren or see the flashing lights.
@yaakov doe, you know what they say about people who assume things….ps, they’re called “accidents” for a reason.
Just a reminder, that emergency vehicles still need to stop at a red light. Once they determine it’s safe, they can go through the intersection.
Not necessarily for this case, but this is especially true with hatzolah cars who don’t have 360 degree light visibility.
