A few dozen Jews took part in a protest at Kever Dovid HaMelech along with Deputy Knesset Speaker Moshe Feiglin. They protested what appears to be the new status quo, Catholic mass being held in the upper room. The move follows the recent visit of Pope Francis.
Prior to the visit there were reports warning that Israel was giving rights to the room to the Catholic Church, reports that were adamantly denied by cabinet ministers and other government officials.
Sadly, in line with the secularist agenda of the mainstream media, this event is dubbed as attended by “extremists” and “radicals”, the term used to describe anyone in Israel today who clings to the Jewish way of life as learned from the Avos and Chazal. Failure to exhibit a willingness to subscribe to the state’s yearning to become a secular Hebrew speaking Western society leaves one in the “radical” and “extremist” camp.

The place is at least as important to Christians as to Jews. If Israel wants to claim to be an open free country it needs to respect the rights and interests of religious minorities.
Proud to be a “radical” and an “extremist”. Na’aseh v’nishma. Torah reigns supreme.
It’s a lost cause, people who have no values can not be expected to get any religious issue right ever.
