FDNY is currently on the scene of a person down a 25 foot trench, and a rescue is underway. The incident is at Bedford Avenue & North 4th Street, and involves a construction worker. The FDNY is advising that the worker is approximately 25 feet down in a trench, and emergency personnel are setting up for a removal of the victim.

FDNY Paramedics are on the scene as well, and are treating the victim. The extent of his injuries are unknown.
