MK Mitzne: Hamas & Bayit Yehudi are Unwilling to Compromise

ben[VIDEO IN EXTENDED ARTICLE]

During an appearance on Meet the Press, MK (The Movement) Amnon Mitzne confirmed making a statement to Israel Radio earlier in the week in which he equated Hamas to Bayit Yehudi.

Mitzne said that if one removes the terrorist component of Hamas, to which he is obviously opposed, then the organization is similar to the Bayit Yehudi party which sits in the coalition government.

Mitzne explains that both Hamas and Bayit Yehudi have the same vision for their state, one for the Jews and one for the Arabs, and of late we heard Bennett refer to Abu Mazen as a mega terrorist. He added that both are working to dismantle the PA (Palestinian Authority).

Channel 2:

Do you think making such an analogy is fitting?

Mitzne:

For sure. It is not I who made the comparison [regarding Abu Mazen]. It was Bennett in his reference to Abu Mazen, with whom we are cooperating and who is assisting Israel to find the missing captives.

I am speaking about the political Hamas, which is similar to Bayit Yehudi, which wishes to bring us to political catastrophe.

It is the prime minister who permits them to continue as they do and I truly do not understand. I call on the prime minister to come forward and address the situation. You called for two nations for two peoples but what are you doing about it. Then there is Bennett who is making this impossible.

What I know is that Bennett is working contrary to the desire of the nation trying to brainwash us there is no partner and no one to speak with. Bayit Yehudi is building like crazy in Yehuda and Shomron. If you understand that without the two state solution there will not be peace.

I think our party, The Movement, must break away from the coalition and work to topple the coalition. We knew who the partners were but we entered the coalition and tried.
