Ben-Gurion International Airport reopened after Yom Kippur after being closed for 32 hours, beginning on erev Shabbos at 14:00. On motzei Yom Kippur the airport processed 3,200 passengers on 22 flights, both incoming and outgoing.
The first landing was at 22:21 and the first take off was at 23:30. A Delta Airlines flight that was scheduled to land in Israel on erev Shabbos at 13:10 was delayed due to weather issues in NY. As a result that flight was canceled.

I don’t comprehend why this Kiddsuh haShem doesen’t transpire every Shabbos? since Shabbos has more Kedusha than Yom haKippurim does.
