Hadassah Physicians Declare a Work Dispute

surgMore headaches at Hadassah Hospitals as physicians have declared a ‘work dispute’. The work dispute pertains to doctors in both Hadassah Ein Kerem and Hadassah Mount Scopus. The doctors claim the medical center is not honoring the collective work agreements that were signed.

Once a ‘work dispute’ is declared in Israel, it marks the beginning of the 14-day countdown timer at the conclusion of which a strike may be called. The 14-day hiatus period is intended to permit labor and management to enter into negotiations in the hope of averting a strike.
