Assemblyman Dov Hikind (D-Brooklyn) received a glowing endorsement this evening from long-time ally NYS Senator Simcha Felder.
On Hikind’s radio show, the popular Senator dismissed the validity of Hikind’s challenger.
“An endorsement means there are choices,” said Felder. “Sometimes there’s no question. I don’t even know why there are signs all over the place ‘Vote for Hikind.’ If people don’t understand that there’s only one choice, and that choice is Assemblyman Dov Hikind, then they should move to another neighborhood. Maybe they will find somebody in their fantasy that will represent them.”

Thank you Somcha you know what Dov has done and will do for us.
It’s about time we see someone who knows the truth and isn’t scared to say it.
You’ve got to give credit to Simcha Felder for having Hakaras Hatov and showing support for Dov Hikind who gave him his start in politics, unlike a certain local Councilman.
Simchas seems to be a bit bored these days. It seems he ran out of Flu shots to give out. The health dept must have fired him.
We neef Nachman Caller in office.
He knows how to get the done.
VOTE FOR NACHMAN CALLER ON TUESDAY!
#2- Actually, this is quite shocking. Felder has gone totally mad. Dov Hikind endorsed Senator Kevin Parker over Simcha Felder in the September 2008 Primary race for the 21st District Senate seat.
Let me repeat myself: Dov Hikind endorsed a VIOLENT black man to represent Boro Park over Simcha Felder in 2008.
Talk about a payoff.
This reeks of illegal behavior from both of them.
Simcha knows who Dov is and he is doing the right thing by publicly endorsing him.
Vote for Dov.
I have tremendous respect for Simcha and think that he’s one of the few honest elected officials. I am therefore shocked that he said “there’s only one choice”. Both men running are capable to serve the community. Kevin Parker has been a huge disappointment since he was first elected and is an embarrassment to all Brooklynites.
Felder was clearly speaking humorously, not literally.
I like Simcha Felder, except that isn’t he the one to push for all the new housing being built on the back of Shoprite? That is going to be so awful. So if anyone thinks it’s a good idea to bring more housing into B oro Park, take a look at what that is going to look like.
Forget not how virulent Rep. Hikind spoke if Gedolim including the Novominsker and others when BP had a sad issue to deal with. He publicized the issue and had zero regard for the Torah leaders to lead our kehilla. Said he, that he was the only one who had authority to handle the issue, not the Torah leaders! It was quite sad!
Hikind also supported Parker over Noach Dear! What goes around comes around!
POLITICS, POLITICS and more POLITICS.
