The levaya for the Seret-Vishnitz Rebbe ZT”L, who was niftar on Tuesday the eve of 21 Tammuz  at the age of 91, will begin at 16:30 from the beis medrash in Ramat Vishnitz in Haifa.

The levaya will proceed via the following streets; Birchas Shlomo (HaShiloach), Betzalel opposite the flow of traffic to Geula Street, and from there via vehicles on Rupin towards Bnei Brak. Buses will be available for participants in the levaya.

Police announce that beginning at 13:00, streets will be closed to accommodate parking for the levaya.

The rebbe’s son Rav Yaakov Hager, who was in Switzerland, was scheduled to arrive back in Israel on Wednesday morning but the flight was delayed and he will only be arriving at 14:30. A number of other family members including grandchildren and great children are due to arrive from the United States.

Once in Bnei Brak the meis will be brought to the Vishnitz Beis Medrash at 32 Chazon Ish Street and at 21:00, the levaya will proceed to the Vishnitz Beis Chaim where the rebbe will be laid to rest aside his father, the Makor Baruch ZT”L ZY”A in the Ohel of Vishnitz Rebbes.
