A number of citizens are using social networking to raise funds to create a legal fund they plan to use to sue President Reuven Rivlin. The citizens took umbrage over statements made during the week in addresses delivered by the president in response to the fatal arson attack in the PA (Palestinian Authority) village of Duma and the fatal stabbing attack at the Jerusalem toeiva parade.
The president has been particularly outspoken, citing “members of my people have chosen terrorism” and similar statements. It is added that Israel Police report they are still uncertain if the arson attack was perpetrated by Jews as the PA villagers claim, or perhaps it was carried out by an Arab. Nonetheless, the president has blazed a path of condemnation against violence and Jewish extremism.
The Facebook campaign hopes to yield sufficient funds to take the president to court and compel him to make an official apology for his “libelous statements”. The citizens are seeking a formal apology to the citizens of Israel by the president. The organizers have conferred to legal experts before embarking on the campaign, which has gone viral. The effort is spearheaded by Yossi Davidov, who explains he will sue the president personally for he has learned from legal experts that a class action suit cannot be filed against the president.

To Mr. Davidov: go for it. I hope you are Matzliach. How can I donate to your cause? I B”H don’t have facebook. Mr. Rivlin has been a very big disappointment. It was a major mistake to have him elected. He has turned out to be a rubber stamp for everything the left wing Liberal atheist, Benjamin Netanyahu, spews forth in his attempt to receive the coveted “peace prize”. Rivlin and all the appeaser’s should move to America & join team Obama!
Please…this old Liberal Jewish should be sent to Gaza for a few minutes. Let the PA tear him to peaces.
