Help Families Suffering From Poverty – Kupath Ezrah Emergency Pesach Campaign

[COMMUNICATED CONTENT]

Kupath Ezrah of Rockland County has remained a constant source of assistance to families suffering from poverty for almost 60 years. We are currently supporting over 650 families relying on our monthly stipends throughout the year, and close to a thousand families that receive situational and Yom Tov stipends. They depend on these checks each month to supplement their income and help with basic needs. Kupath Ezrah is unique because it belongs to the community and tends to the needs of all Jews without exception. The circumstances that led to their situations may differ, but the challenges they face are frighteningly similar- losing a job, having sick family members, unable to afford rent or food, suffering from utility shut offs, and threatened with eviction.

Kupath Ezrah has distributed more than $40 million since its inception, consistently sending out monthly stipends to those in need. Requests for emergency Yom Tov and monthly assistance are pouring in to Kupath Ezrahs office on a daily basis and as Yom Tov approaches, the number of people requiring our assistance keeps growing. With your support, we can help even more families avoid embarrassment at the checkout line and enjoy their Pesach. We cannot meet this growing demand without your generosity.
