El Al Pilots Step Up Sanctions Leading To Additional Flight Cancellations


elalEl Al pilots have decided to step up job actions as the union representing them is locked in talks with management. Pilots claim to be overworked and underpaid. Management reports some collective bargaining agreements addressing a portion of their issues have been signed but pilots are ignoring those agreements.

As a result of ongoing sanctions, a motzei Shabbos flight to Bangkok and New York were canceled and a flight to Beijing was delayed along with other flights, some for ten hours.

  1. Greedy, greedy, greedy! They don’t know what it means to have it hard. Sack them and give the jobs to people who appreciate what they have.

  2. #3, you’re right! For the few shekel the airline pays their pilots, it’s hard to find suitable pilots! They charge us a premium and cut leg room to the absolute minimum cuz they know we’ll stick with them no matter what!
    Well, guess what corporate office! I’ve been flying Delta latelyand they’re great! I recommend them hoghly!
