Iran Warns Western Nations Against Stiffer Sanctions

Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki warned if Western nations move ahead with stiffer sanctions, it will eliminate any and all chances of reaching an agreement with Tehran.

Commenting during a meeting with Belgium Foreign Minister Steven Vanackere, the senior Iranian minister warned that sanctions will place ongoing efforts between the international community and Iran on a collision course.

Mottaki insists that the fuel swap agreement recently signed with Brazil and Turkey will resolve many of the points contested by the West, and he hopes this will permit an agreement.
