8:05AM EST: A serious accident is causing heavy traffic delays on the northbound Garden State Parkway at Mile Marker 91 this morning, after a car travelling southbound crossed the median and crashed into a vehicle travelling Northbound. The accident occurred at approximately 6:30AM, and the GSP was closed due to a medevac landing on the highway.

As of this posting (8:05AM), the highway has been reopened – but 6 mile delays are being reported Northbound.
