Flash Flood Warning In Effect For Northeast NJ


A flash flood warning is in effect for northeast New Jersey late tonight through Monday afternoon, according to meteorologists at the National Weather Service in Mount Holly.

The severe weather is for Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Union and parts of Passaic counties, with roughly 1-1/2 to 2-1/2 inches of rain expected, and possibly more.

The rain today will begin after 5 p.m., with a high temperature of 46 degrees, and a low of about 44.

On Monday, there will be rain and possibly a thunderstorm in the early afternoon. High temperature will be 55, with a low of around 35.
