Jerusalem light rail officials announce they have completed preparations for next week’s observance of Memorial and Independence Days.

Persons traveling to the official Mt. Herzl Memorial Day ceremony will be able to use the light rail free of charge. The light rail will run through the entire night on Independence Day.

Persons traveling to the official memorial may obtain a free light rail pass at the light rail station at the central bus station between 8:00AM and 1:00PM. Officials add the light rail’s schedule will accommodate the expected increase in riders on both Memorial and Independence Days. As such, there will be increased service between city center and Mt. Herzl and back on Memorial Day.
