Israel Police is taking a major step to reduce accidents involving department vehicles. As part of its war against motor vehicle accidents, it will be installing Mobileye® in all vehicles.

The system warns a driver when he tailgates, veers from a lane without using a turn signal, monitors use of high beams at night and identifies pedestrians in front of the vehicle.

The mobile eye issues both an audible and visual alert in the hope the driver will respond to the situation.

In Israel, insurance companies offer a discount for cars with Mobileye installed.
