A few hours ago police reported that a gun had been stolen from a security guard in the city of Bnei Brak. As of the writing of this article, police had still not apprehended the thief, nor do they know whether the theft was criminal nor nationalistic in nature.

The gun was stolen from a security guard who was on duty on HaRav Shach Street in the city. Police arrived at the scene and opened an investigation into the incident. From their original findings they have concluded this much: The gun was stolen by a man who had arrived at the location specifically to steal the weapon from the unsuspecting guard.

A widespread search has begun in the area around the location f the theft and police are exploring every avenue to capture the thief.
