Chareidi Bus Driver Seriously Injured In A Collision With A Truck On Kvish 6

A serious vehicular accident involving a bus and a truck occurred on Kvish 6 (Highway 6) on Wednesday morning Taanis Esther near Sorek Interchange. United Hatzalah EMS personnel operated on the scene.

EMT Yanki Weinberg, who was among the first on the scene reported �When I arrived I realized it was a serious incident involving an empty bus and a truck. The driver of the bus was conscious but pinned inside, and he sustained multisystem trauma. I called the dispatcher requesting fire rescue to extricate him.

The bus driver, a chareidi male in his 50s, was transported to the hospital by a MDA chopper. He was sedated and intubated and flown to the trauma unit of Ichilov Hospital in very serious condition. The truck driver, a male in his 40s, was transported in a MDA paramedic unity to Kaplan Hospital in Rehovot, listed in moderate condition.
