Former Sephardic Chief Rabbi Eliyahu Bakshi-Doron was indicted in the Jerusalem District Court for his alleged involvement in granting over 1,000 fraudulent rabbinical ordinations.

Knesset Speaker Reuven Rivlin announced that a delegation of international parliamentarians schedule to arrive next month will be persona non grata in Knesset following their decision to meet in Gaza with officials. Rivlin added he will prohibit MKs from meeting with them as well.

The Jerusalem Magistrate’s Court remanded a suspect in the assault against HaPeles Editor-in-Chief Nati Grossman for three days. Police requested a four-day remand.

Egyptian military officials report intercepting 17 air-to-surface missiles heading to Gaza about 22km south of al-Arish in Sinai.

Beginning at 17:30, Jerusalem firefighters along with other emergency agencies will take part in a major training event in the Intel site located in the city’s Har Chotzvim High Tech Park.
