Yair Lapid Paints a Picture of the Israeli Middle Class for PM Netanyahu

Attending the Kalkalist Economic Summit addressing Israel’s economic forecast for 2013, Yesh Atid leader Yair Lapid presented his version of the status of Israel’s middle class. Lapid mimicked Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu’s performance in the United Nations General Assembly recently, showing a bomb and a fuse, but Lapid’s bomb did not refer to outside threats, but he focused on the internal economic threat, the collapsing middle class.

Lapid explained that he believes the prime minister has overstayed his welcome in office and he remains clueless as to the real situation regarding the nation’s work force, the middle class. Lapid’s bomb’s red line is an additional increase in taxes. He vowed not to let the current situation continue, referring to the “abuse of the productive army-serving, educated working people by this administration.”
