Hundreds of talmidim and former talmidim of Yeshivas Netzach Yisrael were saddened upon hearing of the petira of the rosh yeshiva, HaGaon HaRav Michael Berniker ZT�L, at the age of 85.
The niftar was the head of the yeshiva, based in the Rechavia neighborhood of the capital, taking over for his father-in-law HaGaon HaRav Gustman� Z�TL, which he established in Rechavia in 5731.
The niftar assumed the helm of the yeshiva since the petira of his father-in-law in 5751.
The levaya began on Sunday, 23 Nissan at 3:30PM from Ramban Street (corner Eben Ezra) in Rechavia to Har HaZeisim, where he will be buried aside his father-in-law.

The rosh yeshiva zt”l’s name was Harav Mechel Berniker son in law of Harav Yisroel Zev Gustman
The correct name is Rabbi Michel Berniker. His father-in-law was Rabbi Ze’ev Gustman.
