Preparations at the tziyun of the Rashbi in Meron are in moving ahead on schedule, including the construction of large hachnasas orchim air-conditioned tents, and of course, all that surrounds the preparation of tens of thousands of snacks and meals.

As reported earlier, because Lag B’Omer falls on a Thursday, there will be a tent with ongoing kriyas HaTorah as well.

Chasdei Shabtai officials operate around the year in Meron, but the organization assumes a special role for Lag B’Omer. Magen David Adom and United Hatzalah are also preparing to provide emergency medical care and setting up field medical clinics, in which many persons are treated and released, without having to be transported to a hospital. They man these clinics with physicians and paramedics.
