Israel: Northern District Police Expose Pirate LP Gas Operation


The Israel Police, together with the various government ministries, are struggling to locate pirate gas operations with an emphasis on gas complexes inside or near residential areas that are liable to endanger the safety and security of the public

In an integrated activity of the Israel Police together with officials in the Infrastructure Ministry, a cluster of LP tanks (cooking gas cylinders) was found in a residential neighborhood of Tamra.

In an activity carried out by police officers with the assistance of the K-9 unit, 128 liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) containers hidden in a dirt field and covered with a tarpaulin were found in a residential neighborhood in the city.

The containers were removed. Police gathered evidence and launched an investigation.
