VIDEO: Israel, Greece And Cyprus Remain Committed To Multi-Sphere Cooperation

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, Cypriote President Nicos Anastasiades and Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras, last week, held a trilateral meeting at the Israel National Cyber Directorate (INCD). After the meeting the leaders toured the National CERT (Cyber Emergency Response Team) and the cyber centers of the Finance and Energy ministries, which are at the INCD. This is part of the 5th Trinational Summit between these nations, which was kicked off last week in Beersheva.

At the meeting the impediments were lifted ahead of the signing of an inter-governmental agreement on the laying of the East Med gas pipeline which is expected to facilitate the export of gas from Israel through Cyprus and Greece to [the rest of] Europe. The leaders agreed to leave room for other countries to join the initiative.

Earlier, Prime Minister Netanyahu held bilateral meetings with the leaders and discussed with them the deepening of economic and security cooperation between the countries.
