Retired IDF major-general, Ze�ev Livni, on Thursday told Galei Tzahal (Army Radio) that during his tenure as prime minister, Binyamin Netanyahu also signaled a willingness to make land concessions on the Golan Heights for a peace deal with Syria.

Livni served as Netanyahu�s military secretary as well as an IDF attach� to Washington.

The proposal by the former prime minister was delivered to the Syrians by Ron Lauder, a close confidant of Netanyahu, Livni reported.
