Masked persons entered the community of Elad during the predawn hours of Shabbos morning and they succeeded in removing the ATM from its place in the commercial center and stealing the money stored inside.

The thieves arrived at the Nachlas Yitzchak shopping center at about 4:00AM, removing the ATM from its place and then breaking it open and stealing the cash. According to a Kikar Shabbos News report, they attached a chain from their vehicle to the ATM and thereby succeeded in pulling it out of its position.

As they were making their getaway, the thieves notices police were following them and they threw the machine in the forest and tried to flee, but they were apprehended.
