HaGaon HaRav Shimon Ba’adani Shlita, a member of the Shas Moetzas Chachmei HaTorah, has been hospitalized in Bnei Brak’s Mayanei HaYeshua Hospital.

Rav Ba’adani, 91, was taken to the hospital on Thursday morning complaining of weakness and foot pain. Persons close to the rav have informed the media that he is being treated and is expected to be released before Shabbos.

The rav’s name for tefilos is Shimon ben Chaviva.
