Incoming Chief Rabbi David Lau feels the release of terrorists places Israeli citizens in increased danger.

“The release of terrorists exposes Israeli citizens to security risks and seriously undermines the feelings of bereaved families. I personally know the prime minister. It is clear to me that as a bereaved brother, who wrote a major book on combating terror, that he will weigh the matter seriously and make the right decision” stated the newly elected Ashkenazi Chief Rabbi of Israel.
