Missing Yerushalayim Youth Found in Tzfas


On Monday night, shortly after midnight, residents of Ramat Shlomo in Yerushalayim (Reches Shuafat) were awakened to the sound of a loudspeaker as a vehicle slowly drover around the area seeking assistance in locating an 11-year-old boy who disappeared during the afternoon hours.

The youth was last seen heading the Mishkenos Yaakov shul in the neighborhood, where he was learning in the afternoon. Community leaders set up a command post and efforts were rapidly being organized to locate the missing child.

According to the organizer of the search effort, Gavriel Kassover, the response was heart-warming and neighbors offered to assist in anyway possible. Those with 4 X 4 vehicles began searching the forestry area and everyone was involved in one way or another.

A number of hours later the notification came to call of the search – explaining that Baruch Hashem the child is safe and sound, located in Tzfas at his brother’s home.
