BACKTRACKING: Anti-Semite Rep Ilhan Omar Deletes Tweet Blaming Israel For Gaza Hospital Bombing

Anti-Semite Rep. Ilhan Omar has retracted her earlier comments on social media in which she placed blame on Israel for the explosion that occurred at a Gaza hospital. While she stopped short of issuing an apology, her revised statement indicated a shift in her stance.

Omar’s initial remarks had garnered significant attention and controversy, as many prominent progressives and members of the media had rushed to believe Hamas’ claims that an Israeli airstrike was responsible for the hospital attack.

However, subsequent investigations by both the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and the Biden administration have debunked the narrative put forth by the terrorist group Hamas. According to these official sources, the explosion was the result of a misfired rocket from the Islamic Jihad. Nevertheless, the initial claims had already sparked international outcry, leading to riots erupting in multiple countries.

On Wednesday night, Rep. Ilhan Omar addressed her earlier comments, stating, “Our office cited an AP report yesterday that the IDF had hit a Baptist hospital in Gaza. Since then, the IDF denied responsibility and the US intelligence assessment is that this was not done by Israel. It is a reminder that information is often unreliable and disputed in the fog of war (especially on Twitter where misinformation is rampant). We all have a responsibility to ensure information we are sharing is from credible sources and to acknowledge as new reports come in.”

She went on to call for a fully independent investigation to conclusively determine who is responsible for what she described as a “war crime.”

Her anti-Semite friend and fellow “squad” member Rashida Tlaib continues to peddle the blood libel that Israel killed 500 people in a hospital.

  1. The question that needs to be asked of all such individuals is: Were you bothered by the fact that a hospital was targeted? Or that Israel was behind it?

If the answer is the former (which would be a lie), the followup question is “Why do you not call for condemnation of the Israeli hospital that suffered a direct hit last week by Hamas DELIBERATELY?”

  2. @apdsvys yes, but we need to start getting used to living in a world where anti-semitism is open and proud. It’s no longer the mark of shame that it was over the past few decades.

  3. Finally found it, the Barzilei hospital in Ashkelon was hit by Chamas rockets. Someone needs to post pictures of the damage in the news.
