Following the launches from Yemen on Tuesday, a Houthi spokesperson announced on television: “Our armed forces launched a large number of ballistic missiles and drones at various targets of the Israeli enemy. This operation is our third in support of our oppressed brothers in Palestine and confirms that we will continue to carry out more qualitative strikes with missiles and drones until the Israeli aggression stops.”

The US Army’s CENTCOM, which is responsible for the US forces in the Middle East, is also deployed in the Red Sea area and intercepted missiles and drones launched by the Houthis two weeks ago. CNN reported that the US forces’ interception of 15 UAVs and four cruise missiles lasted nine hours.
