Israel National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir Injured In Overturn Car Crash [VIDEOS]

National Security Minister Ben-Gvir was injured in a car accident on Friday afternoon as he departed the scene of a terrorist stabbing attack in Ramle.

Dashcam video shows that Ben Gvir’s official vehicle crossed through a red light with its emergency lights on. The footage, taken from another vehicle at the scene, shows the minister’s black sedan slowing down at the junction but then proceeding through the red light.

Ben Gvir’s vehicle was struck by a second car, causing it to overturn. Fortunately, Ben Gvir, his daughter, and driver, who were all in the vehicle, sustained only minor injuries. A security vehicle accompanying the minister also ran the red light but managed to avoid the collision.

Ben Gvir’s office has confirmed the incident, stating that all three occupants of the vehicle were lightly injured. The minister’s office has yet to comment on the driver’s decision to run the red light.

  1. Not just Haaretz. Why would this idiot run a red light with his kid in the car and risk the lives of others as well?

  2. He seems to travel with a VERY light security detail. All I see in the immediate aftermath is 2 security officers. That doesn’t seem very adequate, certainly not for a minister like him.

  3. Only idiots call Ben Gvir an idiot.
At the moment he is the single member of the government willing to do what it takes to bring security to Israel.
After Oct. 7 anyone who still thinks being moderate and soft to appease the nations is the way to go belongs in Gaza.

  4. While one shldnt celebrate another Jew’s misfortune, he’s different. He has a דין רודף.
He’s responsible for the death and destruction of too many and would still continue his vile behavior in antagonizing Muslims for his own selfish agendas.
Not sure if he deserves a single Tfillah.

  5. CA: Celebrating??? My point was clear…. VIP security details are routinely trained NOT to run red lights unless they have “cleared” oncoming traffic (or have local police blocking cross traffic). That is for the security of the protectee. Here, there doesn’t appear to have been a motorcade with other security vehicles or protected intersections.
