President Donald Trump says he will decide sometime in the next two weeks whether the U.S. will be “directly involved” in Israel’s campaign against Iran.
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt made the announcement during a Thursday press conference, reading a statement directly from Trump.
“Based on the fact that there’s a substantial chance of negotiations that may or may not take place with Iran in the near future, I will make my decision whether or not to go within the next two weeks,” Leavitt quoted.
PRESS SEC: “Iran has all that it needs to achieve a nuclear weapon. All they need is a decision from the Supreme Leader.”
“Which would, of course, pose an existential threat not just to Israel, but to the United States and to the entire world.”
PRESS SEC: “President Trump is a peacemaker-in-chief. He is the peace-through-strength president, & so if there’s a chance for diplomacy, the President’s always going to grab it, but he’s not afraid to use strength as well.”

Trump is all talk. He got nothing done on Russia. He got virtually nothing on trade deals. He gave in to the Houthis (just as he gave in to the Taliban in his first term). He made a big deal over DOGE spending cuts but is now exploding the deficit with his big bill. He talks big but achieves little. Israel set him up with a clear path to get the Nukes blown away and instead he balked because he is scared of his MAGA base.

You know of course that J’lem is the eternal capital of the Jewish people. Many presidents said sure we get it but we won’t actually acknowledge it bec it might make the muslims angry. Trump moved the embassy and recognized J’lem as our capital.
You know of course that Iran has been working on a nuclear bomb for decades. Every president clucked his tongue and said isn’t that a shame. Trump is the only one – his first term – that did something to cripple the effort. Obama in fact exposed the most important major program – stuxnet – to the Iranians that was used to retard their progress. Every US president prohibited Israel from acting directly against the program. Only Trump cleared the way for Israel to attack.
It annoys me to no end that someone who advocates for positions antithetical to Torah values and who advocates for positions harmful to Jewry such as yourselves posts here.

A week before Israel launched their massive attack, supposedly Trump had a harsh phone call with Bibi, supposedly they weren’t seeing eye to eye. Supposedly they were in string disagreement on Iran and a potential “deal. That all turned out to be false information, a smoke screen set up to trick Iran and allow for a surprise element in the attack. Personally; I think that’s what’s going on here too. He’s putting out false information to give Iran the impression that they have time.

Keith – Obama did not expose stuxnet to the Iranians. Furthermore when Trump pulled out of the Iran deal he claimed he would get a better deal. He never did. Instead under his watch in both his first and second term Iran enriched uranium and shortened it’s breakout time. The best Trump could do was to deploy Witkoff to the Mullahs. Bibi saw him being played along and chose to act.
The vast majority of religious Jews voted and love Trump. Biden was a vicious anti semite with supporters of left wing Jew haters. Why did most reform Jews vote Biden.
