Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Motzei Shabbos hinted that Israel’s attack on Hamas leaders in Doha did not succeed in eliminating the terror group’s top leaders.
In a statement he issued on X, the prime minister said, “The Hamas terrorist chiefs living in Qatar don’t care about the people in Gaza.”
“They blocked all ceasefire attempts in order to endlessly drag out the war.
“Getting rid of them would rid the main obstacle to releasing all our hostages and ending the war.”
Meanwhile, Energy Minister Eli Cohen told the Saudi Elaph on Motzei Shabbos that “anyone who is connected to Hamas cannot sleep soundly anywhere in the world.”
When asked if the US received advance warning about the strike, he responded, “There are things that cannot be detailed. They received a general notice, but they weren’t told, ‘We are going to do this now.'”
