An Israeli couple vacationing in Sardinia was shocked after discovering a sign in Hebrew and English at the entrance to a popular wine bar declaring that “War criminals are not welcome in Sardinia and may be prosecuted under the law.”
The sign was accompanied by a “Stop the Genocide” sticker featuring a Palestinian flag.
Alex, an Israeli from central Israel, said he and his wife had planned to visit the well-known establishment after receiving recommendations.
“When we arrived, there was no seating outside, so we went inside,” he told Israeli media. “Right at the entrance we saw the sign. We immediately turned around and left.”
“We came for a vacation, to relax and disconnect, and instead we were met with a political agenda,” he said. “Before we even ordered anything, we were labeled as war criminals. It felt like going back to the days of signs saying ‘No Dogs or Jews.'”
He added that while they encountered Palestinian flags and anti-Israel graffiti throughout the city during their trip, “this was by far the most aggressive display.”
The owner of the wine bar defended the sign and refused to apologize.
“Why should we apologize for preventing war criminals committing genocide in Palestine from entering our establishment?” he said. “We are not banning Israelis. We are banning aggressive Zionists. Israelis who are not involved in the killing of innocent people are welcome here like anyone else.”
He claimed the policy is shared by the owners, employees, and local residents, adding that one of his grandfathers fought as a partisan against the Nazis during World War II, while another was a doctor who was persecuted by Italy’s Fascist regime for opposing the deportation of Jews.

Is this bar kosher. Probably not.
This is a predictable result of the wicked idolaters’ attempting to destroy Judaism and replace it with their godless nationalist Zionism. Jews obviously don’t belong in treif places, though this poor couple probably doesn’t know that thanks to Zionist shmad they endured in that putatively-Jewish “State”.
(“It felt like going back to the days of signs saying ‘No Dogs or Jews.’””
Not at all; not only do they have no problem with Jews but, as stated, they also have no problem even with Zionists – only the specific Zionists that they consider to be war criminals. )
That could also explain how the proprietors of some cafe in Sardinia thinks that “the most moral army in the world” has war criminals even if that’s totally made up.
May Hashem protect us all.
The whole point of Zionism was ככל הגויים בית ישראל ר״ל, and this is just another reminder how that doesn’t work. What business do Jews have in a יין נסך bar? They’re not making Kiddush, and the Goy is making Havdalah… (By the way, Sardinia was home to the Rishon Rabbi Shmuel HaSardi, author of ספר התרומות. Other than that, I’m not aware of any significant Jewish connection there. But you can easily buy the Sefer on sale this month from Machon Yerushalayim without shlepping to Sardinia…)
