As the Likud opposition party continues to attract a list of political stars, Kadima leader Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni told Galei Tzahal (Army Radio) on Sunday morning that she is not concerned.
Livni stated politics in Israel is not a game of stars, but it is actual policy and dealing with realities. She made her comments in response to reports that Dr. Binyamin Begin, former IDF spokeswoman Miri Regev and former minister Dan Meridor area all returning to Likud.
In response to her statements, Likud officials released a statement that unlike Livni who follows the path of Yossi Beilin, the Likud is working towards peace with Israel’s neighbors but without jeopardizing the citizens of Israel.
