Public Security Minister (Kadima) Avi Dichter announced on Monday morning that the smuggling of weapons into Gaza will be viewed by Israel as firing rockets into Israel, a ceasefire violation, and such an act will be met with the appropriate Israeli response.

Dichter’s message is basically the same as other cabinet ministers who released statements to the press, stating that while Israel has undertaken a halt in the military counter-terrorism offensive, it will not tolerate any future attacks from Gaza.
