Technion PhD Student Reprimanded for Sitting During Hatikvah

Radical left-wing Technion University PhD student, Eyal Rosenberg was censured for remaining seated during the Hatikvah national anthem at a school graduation event. A dean of the university sent him a harsh letter, in which he expressed his total disapproval for his lack of acceptable “social norms” and his decision to place personal views ahead of the community and the feelings of his colleagues and instructors. As such, he is banned from a master’s degree graduation ceremony scheduled to take place next month.

Dean Shpitalni, who heads the university’s graduate studies programs, called Rosenberg’s behavior “disgraceful”.

According to reports, the computer science PhD student did serve in the IDF, in the Intelligence Corps, but did asked to be discharged as a conscientious objector.
