Authorities on Monday morning report at least four Arabs were injured, the result of rock-throwing attacks against them by Jews in Shomron during the predawn hours near the community of Kedumim. They also blocked an area road.
Media reports quoting PA (Palestinian Authority) sources state a 44-year-old male sustained a serious head injury. According to one report, the man was forced out of his car and was attacked with rocks, saved by an IDF soldier who arrived on the scene. It is reported the man was beaten by the Jewish crowd. Six Jews were taken into custody by police.
Several hundred activists arrived in the area during the night amid rumors authorities are planning to remove Gilad Farm, a major area outpost.

I think it is VERY wrong of YWN to report seemingly negative stories about Yidden based on yishmaeli sources. Its hard enough to believe many of the Israeli news sources, so kal v’chomer!!! At the very least, I’m sure there is another side to this story (that has not been reported here.) This story should be taken down until all the facts are in from JEWISH sources!
I agree with #1, however I will add that if the news is true, it is ABSOLUTELY unforgivable and should be shunned by the Jewish community. We are an Am Kadosh with halacha and moral obligations. We do not allow aggressive violence in place of peaceful protest.
the true story is more likely — arabs were throwing rocks at jews and they rightfully retaliated. the news loves these stories as they only report half the story – the part that makes am yisrael look bad
as far as morality–we need to show no morality to our mortal enemies. morality to enemies is what is causing immorality to our friends — like we see going on with the settlements being destroyed…

To #3 (kollelman) I would bet that you are correct, but until we know for sure, let’s AT LEAST not condemn our own brothers!!!
kollelman, I don’t think you meant to say that. We ALWAYS need to show morality. ESPECIALLY when dealing with enemies. If we don’t, we’re acting like animals – like they do to us. You confuse morality with complacency. We have a right to defend ourselves, and to take whatever actions necessary to protect ourselves, but NOT to be violent at a time or in a place where there isn’t an imminent threat.
They are only protecting their land! Arabs and leftists try to throw them out, they retaliate! It is totally fair nu?!
