Monday Afternoon News Briefs from Eretz Yisrael


Authorities on Monday morning evacuated a number of caravan structures, an outpost near Elon Moreh in Shomron called Nachlat Yosef. After authorities left the area, youths began rebuilding the structures.

**Addressing the Israel Bar Association in Eilat, Attorney General Mazuz stated suspected criminals should not be appointed to senior public posts, stating Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman never should have been made foreign minister. 

**Air France has released a statement that none of the passengers on ill-fated flight 447 from Rio to Paris were making their way to Israel.
