Lebanon: Another Israeli Spy in Custody

Lebanese officials announced the arrest of Hussein Abdullah, 36, who Lebanese officials report was spying on behalf of Israel. On Saturday, Faisal Razi was sentenced to life in prison with hard labor for transferring information on Hizbullah to Israel.

Abdullah, a resident of Kfar Chi’am, was taken into custody on Tuesday. He was apprehended as he returned from work and taken to Lebanon’s Public Security HQ in Beirut for interrogation.

A Lebanese military court on Saturday sentenced Razi after he was found guilty of spying for Israel.

In April, Lebanese security officials began rounding up suspects, accused of spying for Israel. Over 50 arrests have been made to date. At least 20 have already been indicted.
