Monday Evening News Briefs from Eretz Yisrael


A firebomb was hurled at border police near Chomesh in N. Shomron. No injuries. The border police were protecting ministers visiting the area.

**About 100-150 left-wing activists protest in Shimon HaTzaddik neighborhood of Jerusalem on Monday evening against planned Jewish construction. MK Dr. Michael Ben-Ari led a protest in favor of the construction.

**A 4.5-y/o girl sustained an abdominal injury when kicked by a horse in Moshav Nechalim near Petach Tikvah. She was transported to Schneider Children’s Hospital in stable condition.

**While touring N. Shomron on Monday, Minister of Strategic Affairs Moshe Ya’alon stated the government must seriously consider returning to Chomesh.

**An unarmed infiltrator from Gaza was apprehended by IDF troops near Nachal Basor.
