It appears that the diplomatic row between Israel and Turkey is far from over. President Shimon Peres and Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman will not be attending, with officials explaining there is no official boycott, but the two senior officials will not be taking part.

The event marking Turkey’s independence will be hosted by the Turkish ambassador to Israel.
