Monday Morning News Briefs from Eretz Yisrael


Haifa-Nahariya train service has been suspended until Wednesday to permit maintenance.

**11:11AM: A motorcycle driver on Route 55, near Alfei Menashe, reported shots were fired at him. No injuries were reported. The IDF is investigating.

**Bomb demolition technicians on Monday were summoned to a Gaza area community after an unexploded Kassam rocket was detected on the community grounds.

**Jordan’s King Abdullah II calls on the international community to prevent an Israeli strike against Iran, fearing disastrous results for the entire region. The king accuses Israel of “playing with fire” regarding Yerushalayim.

**IDF soldiers taking part in counter-terrorism operations throughout Yehuda and Shomron arrested 14 suspects on Sunday night.

**Gaza-based terrorists during the night fired a Kassam rocket into southern Israel. The rocket landed in an open area near Sderot. There were no reports of injuries or damage.

**An Israeli was lightly injured in a rock-throwing attack near Beit Omer on Sunday night, located southwest of PA-occupied Beit Lechem.
