A number of PA (Palestinian Authority) residents disguised as Israeli cyclists were apprehended by alert soldiers at a checkpoint near Oranit along the Trans-Samaria Highway last month.

According to a report appearing in the HaMevaser, the PA residents were trying to cross into Green Line Israel, but they were not terrorists.

During recent months, members of the IDF’s Eitan unit manning checkpoints, report an increase in the originality of PA residents seeking to make their way through crossing points illegally, many seeking employment but lack the documentation to enter pre-1967 Green Line Israel.
