Banned Or Not? Kosher Internet Access Office In Yerushalayim

It was only a matter of time, in this case, not too much time. YWN-Israel has stumbled across a kosher internet office services flyer, in the Ezras Torah area of Yerushalayim.

The flyer, in English, obviously addresses the English-speaking community, offering a full complement of office services for the frum women, citing the recent ban published by Gedolei Yisrael Shlita, to remove internet from Torah homes.

The flyer boasts approval from the “gedolei mashgichim” and offers morning and afternoon hours.

  1. What has become of our religion? Rabbi Shmuel Kaminetsky answered this shialoh three years ago and he said it’s become vildkeit and not yidishkeit.

Reb Shmuel Kaminetsky in his sweet ways has a very distaste for people who make a mockery out of religion. Nebach as to what is going these days and then people wonder why everyone is “at risk”.

  2. This posting is erroneous, sensational and misleading. I checked out this office and it does have the approval of major Torah authorities and one of the greatest of the roshei yeshiva. The people who operate this office thoroughly sought Torah guidance. I think YW is bordering on a place of sensationalism and loshon harah. The word “boasting” is charged. The poster “states.” Whoever wrote the article has an agenda and it looks like erroneous zealousness rather than thoughtful consideration. And…did this person call to verify or just go on his or her own righteous seek and destroy mission. Maybe YW, if it continues to allow malignment, perhaps it should heed the call of the Gedolim and close, as did sites in Eretz Yisroel.
