Tuesday Morning News Briefs from Eretz Yisrael


Monday evening firebomb attack directed at an Israeli motorist in Shomron near Yitzhar Ketana Junction.

**In a second consecutive day of Arab violence in Chevron, several tens of Arabs burned tires and pelted soldiers with rocks. No injuries were reported.

**IDF soldiers taking part in counter-terrorism operations throughout Yehuda and Shomron apprehended six suspects on Monday night.

**In additional to the 14 weekly flights to Paris, El Al at the end of April will begin adding 4 flights weekly to accommodate the growing demand.

**Police responded to a Ra’anana post office on Tuesday morning after a recipient of a letter from Hong Kong told officials such a letter was not expected. Police took the letter for examination.

**Israel post offices will return to regular operations on Tuesday but residents are urged to continued exhibit vigilance regarding possible postal bombs.

**The Beersheva District Court sentenced Muhmad Bhabtza to 18 years in prison for conspiring to abduct and kill and Israeli. His plan was to use the hostage as a bargaining chip towards obtaining the release of imprisoned terrorists.
