Deputy Minister of Defense Matan Vilnai will join a number of senior IDF commanders in Shoham on Thursday, accompanied by local governmental leaders in a simulated missile training event.

Vilnai, who oversees the homefront situation, is testing the abilities and inter-agency coordination of local government and the training event on Thursday is a precursor to a major training event intended to test local governments’ abilities in a missile attack. That event is set to take place in May.
